North East based bass guitarist and double bass player.
Born and bred in West Hartlepool, Chris has lived the last 29 years in Darlington. He taught himself guitar when he was 15 and as the cliché goes, when he and some of his friends decided to form a band, Chris took up the bass as there were too many guitarists!
Chris has played on the local music scene for many years and previously worked with Jim Hornsby in ‘More Tequila’ and ‘Prelude’.
While his taste for alt.Country, Americana, Western Swing and Bluegrass music goes back years, he has a diverse palette that embraces all genres of music from Folk and Blues through to Jazz.
More recently Chris has been working with Prelude and performed in 2005 at the ‘Hull Story’ tribute concert.
